Recent Awards And Events	RECENT AWARDS AND EVENTS: full size   Full Size River Landing 'Founders' Sculpture (in process) Hans Holtkamp's 'Founders' sculpture will be installed at River Landing in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in spring 2008. It depicts the two leaders, Chief Whitecap and John Lake overlooking the riverbank and discussing where best to situate the new settlement (which would eventually grow to become Saskatoon). Other views of full size sculpture in process: maquette 1/2 life-size   Third Avenue Roundabout Sculpture at River Landing, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Hans Holtkamp's submission was selected by a jury and will be sculpted over the summer of 2007 for installation in spring 2008. It depicts the two leaders, Chief Whitecap and John Lake overlooking the riverbank and discussing where best to situate the new settlement (which would eventually grow to become Saskatoon). Other views of 1/2 life-size maquette:   Hans Holtkamp's "Naiomi" received honourable mention in the 2006 International Portrait Arts Festival. This was the only portrait in the bronze sculpture medium to receive this honour.
